What certification will I get after completing the UAV RPAS training course?

You will leave with a 141 certified 102 course completion certificate. You can then apply (with your exposition) to CAA to get certified to operate commercially OR outside of part 101 rules.

The certificate alone can help your credibility with potential clients as many of them expect (and will not consider you unless) you are trained and certified to fly a drone. This if more for liability reasons but also to assess your competency.

Being trained by a professional organisation who hires instructors who are also manned aircraft pilots is a big advantage. Our instructors are also helicopter, and/or aeroplane pilots.

We also take attendees for optional flights so you get a true feel for the air you are sharing with other pilots (yes if you fly a UAV you are a pilot) and a trip to the control tower wherever possible so the team can talk about what they expect from you when flying in a control zone.

What can you do as a Certified Part 101 Drone pilot (compared to uncertified)
