Special use airspace is airspace that has been designated a different ‘type’ due to one of many reasons.
The Civil Aviation Rules state it is your responsibility (as the Pilot in Command) to know what type of airspace you’re flying in, and if it’s a special-use airspace, to know it’s rules, what restrictions apply to you, and resources and permissions required to complete the flight safely and lawfully.
The consequence of operating your drone illegally in a special use airspace could result in fines, imprisonment, harm to wildlife, serious harm or death to humans.
There is a reason why it has been designated as special use airspace. Know why and how to fly safely in or around it.
